Since 1914, the Student Government Association has worked to fulfill its mission: to represent the collective voice of the student body while encompassing the spirit of the TCU community through service, programming and legislation.
SGA is comprised of four branches:
The House of Student Representatives gives the student body a voice by authoring and voting on legislation designed to improve life at TCU.
Programming Council funds, plans, and executes a variety of activities and events on-campus, such as Howdy Week, Family Weekend, Homecoming, Holidays at TCU, concerts, movie nights and much more.
The Executive Branch is the main body responsible for leading Student Government and communicating with the student body. This branch is composed of the Student Body Officers, Cabinet and Frog Aides freshman leadership program.
The Judicial Board listens to and decides on matters relating to the violation of Student Government’s governing documents.
