What do you like most about serving as a member of SGA?

I love the opportunities that SGA has provided and will continue to provide me and other TCU students. Because TCU is such a relatively small school, students here have the great opportunity to get involved and become an active leader on campus. Being involved in SGA has given me the opportunity to serve the student body, in many different capacities. SGA has ultimately helped me and continues to help me reach my goal of making a difference on campus.

What else are you involved in around campus?

Besides SGA duties, I am involved in my sorority, Sigma Kappa, Student Foundation, SGA Frog Aides 2010 Leader and Neeley Fellows.

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia

What do you like to do in your spare time (besides work really hard on SGA business)?

I love spending time with friends and family, going to movies, reading, sleeping, baking, and of course, shopping.

How do you like your eggs cooked?

I’m not a huge egg fan, but every now and then I enjoy them scrambled.

If you could have any super power, what would it be and why?

I would want the super power from “The Secret World of Alex Mack” the old Nickelodeon television show. After being splashed with chemicals, Alex could morph into a liquid object and change into different shapes, move objects, and do other cool super power tricks. I spent a good portion of my childhood watching this show and wishing I could have Alex Mack’s super powers.

If you could have your own personal theme song that played at key moments throughout your day, what would it be?

I would definitely want “Eye of the Tiger” from Rocky as my personal theme song - there’s something about the music that motivates me and gets me pumped up. It’s a song that everyone knows, so when I’m strolling through Eden’s or Smith, everyone can sing along and enjoy.

What is your favorite letter of the alphabet and why?

Well, I’m a big fan of the letter K…for obvious reasons. It’s a great letter and it looks so cool in sign language.

If you could be the Chancellor for a day, what would you do?

I would host a huge, campus-wide event where there would be concerts with everyone's favorite performers, free food, and lots of fun. The budget for this event would be covered by my “Chancellor for a day salary.” We would also have various events throughout the day that celebrate the Horned Frog Spirit – pep rallies, appearances from all of the athletics teams, and other fun TCU activities. It would be the pinnacle of programs on campus and would undoubtedly be the event of the year; every student at TCU would come to this event and have an amazing time!
