Texas Weather

In late August, expect high temperatures in the upper 90's, possibly reaching 100+.  Evening lows usually range from high 70's to mid 80's.  It is important to dress appropriately for these hot temperatures and to remain well hydrated.  The Summit staff will provide plenty of water for delegates.

Summit Attire

We ask that you observe the following dress recommendations during the Summit:

  • Thursday morning & afternoon at TCU: Business Casual. Short-sleeved shirts and tops, however, are encouraged.
  • Thursday evening at the Modern: Business Professional. Time and transportation are provided for delegates to return to the hotel and change before the evening event at the Modern Art Museum.
  • Friday: Modified Business Casual. Dress can be adjusted for more time outdoors (including a tour of the Rangers Ballpark and an outdoor dinner at Joe T. Garcia's). As an example, men are encouraged to wear khaki shorts and polos, and women are encouraged to wear skirts and blouses.  Time and transportation are not provided for changing; therefore, we encourage delegates to dress in this modified business casual for the entire day.
