The deadline for Co-Programming for the 2007-2008 school year has already passed. Co-Programming opportunities for the 2008-2009 school year will be announced in August 2008.

2007 Co-Programming Policies

Organizations applying for Co-Programming must meet the following criteria:

  • It must be officially recognized and in good standing with the University and SGA
  • It is in good standing with the Student Government Association and is therefore eligible to receive funding from Co-Programming and Activities Funding Board allocations

After receiving applications, SGA Programming Council will contact organization representatives to schedule a presentation proposal. These presentation proposals will last no longer than 15 minutes and will be held during a specially-called SGA Programming Council Executive Board Meeting, the time and date of which will be determined upon scheduling availability. Co-Programming fund allocations will be announced shortly thereafter.

Organizations receiving Co-Programming funds must be willing to comply with the following requirements:

  • Co-Programmed event must be held within the 2007 – 2008 academic year
    • Any and all remaining funds must be returned to SGA Programming Council before the 2008 summer recess
  • Organization representative must meet regularly with designated SGA Programming Council Executive Directors to discuss Co-Programmed event
  • Organization must publicize SGA Programming Council’s sponsorship in the Co-Programmed event
    • SGA Programming Council Executive Board Members  must approve campus-wide advertisement in advance and will supply organization with necessary logos
  • Co-Programmed event must be free of charge and open to the entire TCU campus community
    • The event must not discriminate and must incorporate and be in line with the University’s mission statement and values
  • After Co-Programmed event, organization must provide detailed evaluation of event and present to the SGA Programming Council Executive Board
  • SGA Programming Council does not make charitable contributions of any kind, therefore funding cannot go in part or in whole towards a charitable organization

An organization’s failure to meet these policies and procedures may lead to suspension of SGA recognition status and funding privileges. Suspensions and other areas of concern may be appealed to the SGA Judicial Board.
